Koni Shock Absorbers

Beitrag von Adrianlle » 17.06.2016 22:08

Good Evening. I have read on this forum that ref adjustable koni shock absorbers are a big improvement..
As my current absorbers need changing, I have decided to fit red adjustable koni front and rear. Two questions please. Does anyone have the koni part numbers for front and rear so that I order the correct parts in UK? Also what setting of hardness works best on the koni front and koni rear? Thank you.

I have now bought adjustable red konis for front and rear. I intend to adjust the rear to fully firm. What is the advice of people ( who have fitted red konis at front)for adjusting the front shock absorbers?

Hello Adrianlle, I am now in the same situation as you were. I am about to change the shock absorbers in my JC. How was your experience with koni? I am not sure about koni red shock abs. or Bilstein b6.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Pedro.

Hi,

you are asking questions, that are already answered, for example in the very long thread:
"rote KONI Stoßdämpfer".

Maybe you are searching for an answer in English?
For the rear shock absorbers: most recommended is two or three half turns, means 360° to 540°.

Part numbers:
rear: 82-2434
https://www.koni-online.de/mercedes-ben ... 2434-15480
front: 82-2604
https://www.koni-online.de/mercedes-ben ... 2604-15478

As you can choose you car model at this website, nothing will go wrong.

Greetings
Peter

Achtung, die Artikelnummer für vorne stimmt nicht, die ersten zwei Zahlen müssen "87" lauten!
