I'm concerned by the forbidden vehicle in 2026 because of the category for pollution =Euro4

I read with great interest your posts.
I am also in Canada and importing a 2008 JC from Germany this summer, after a few 000km in EU.
I owned a 1997 JC for 6-7 years and learned a LOT.
Sold it last fall with 250,000km once I had bought the 2008 (70,000km).
FANTASTIC tips here.
It will help ME a lot and will immediately start looking for the issues mentioned to save me headaches when back in Canada.
I would not worry about exhaust pipe.
I changed the whole thing on the 1997, over at the local MB dealer w/OEM stainless, about CD$ 1,800… they replaced the original, lasted 25 years and 250,000 km…
