Re: auxiliary heater
Hello boatmen,
It is an EBERSPAECHER water version D4W SC.
The heat output is quite..... bad , 2 winter packages have been offered, one with a larger heat exchanger and better fan; the other is a air-tronic EBERSPAECHER version situated underneath the right seat.
There is a German description about this two improvements.

Re: auxiliary heater
Hallo boatman,
First of all i would check the Heating -/Cooling LIQUID - is there enough in the system?
And: is there some AIR in the system, which should not be there?
In this great Forum you can find a German manual somewhere....

Re: auxiliary heater
Hallo Ulip, where can i check the fluid level of the system? And can i add water or radiator fluid?
Re: auxiliary heater
The compensating reservoir is placed unter the bathroom sink. You have to loosen about four screws. The rest of the coverage is attached with velcro.
You should only use heaterfluid.
You should only use heaterfluid.

Re: auxiliary heater
It won't be. My reservoir was full at the time and under 7° Celsius I was freezing to death. Without any modification you won't get any use out of the original heater.boatmen hat geschrieben:thank you very much I will do this check to see if the bad performance of the heater is due to this problem

In fact I tried to lift a full tank also air from the circuit but the air coming out is lukewarm. I expected better.
