Where you can install the winter package 1 westfalia code 282032 246025? It's the exchanger plus for the James Cook 2007/2008 heater. In Italy it is impossible but I'd also be willing to stop in Germany during one of my trips.
I also contacted westfalia but not perform work to individuals.
If you have any reference address or phone I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Hello Boatmen,

you might try it here:
http://www.ermel-freizeitmobile.de/
A very experienced service point for our RV's.

Also you might think of installing the air heaters instead the winter package 1, it was that time the winter package 2.

Good luck

Let us know if it was successful.

May be also a good idea to join the James Cook meeting this spring in Schuettdorf, worth to combine with visiting the service station.

Best regards

You'll might find additional information in the attached document, describing the optimization of the heating system in our early James Cook's.
It is in German, but maybe you're able to translate anyhow.

Best regards

Dear all,

Could you explain - or do you have any picture - the difference between the original and the upgraded exchanger ?

My Jc is very cold now; the heating unit was turned by the precedent owner to the hydronics 5kW but I'm not sure if the internal exchanger was upgraded.

Here below is a picture of my exchanger.
And I really would like have the feeling of some heat in the van.

Thanks.

Vincent.

You have the old exchanger the new is different and has other fans. I have tried in January with -17° and the system is good. Now we arrive in the living until 20°.
