Remove step on top of the refrigerator?

Hi everyone,

I'm fitting a TV in the usual place (library wall), and the step on top of the fridge seems to be making life difficult. Without going into WIS and checking, is there an easy way to remove it? Do I need to take it off before I put the wall back?
