Are black water dumps readily available in the EU and UK or should we consider swapping out our marine toilet for a cassette type?

Yes, almost all Cassette dumps are low enough to be used with your black water hose. Only very few are too high for your hose or not accessible with the van.

We have to empty our 4 gallon cassette every 3-4 days. I guess your black water tank is a lot bigger. So if you can't dump, just wait for the next chance.
