Re: Panel removal under dining window

Hi Berry,

Can you please send me a few photos from behind the lower panel? I am particularly interested in how the water pipes are located and the pipe connections.

If easier, you can email them to me directly at: ianevans@sentex.net

Thank you,

Ian

Re: Panel removal under dining window

Hi Berry, Re top section. 1. Remove the strip where my red line is. A few screws. 2. Remove light fittings and electrical socket from top of upper panel. 3. Feel behind upper panel for where the green plastic clips are attached. From memory, 1 or 2 at bottom and same at top. 4. Rest of panel is atta...

Panel removal under dining window

I need to remove the panel below the dining window (see image). The whole panel below the red line with the 2 red arrows. I know how to remove the upper panel above red line but not the lower one.

Has anyone done this, and if so what is the best way to approach the job?

Thank you!

Central computer display goes off

Our central computer works fine with all functions. On a recent trip I noticed that after driving on a rough road, the display had gone off. I pressed the big button and it came back on with all the functions working as they had before. This has happened a couple of times now. Maybe there is a loose...

Water pressure dropped - must be a leak?

The water pressure from our water pump has always been OK. Recently I attached the mains water connect in the utility centre and ran the water through the system. It seemed to work OK, but was a strong flow initially. Now when I turn the water on using the pump, there is a slight delay until water a...

Draining the hot water from boiler for winter

I have drained all 3 mains taps under the bench seat. I opened the taps as I was draining to make sure the water could escape. Fresh water tank is empty. Does the water that is in the boiler drain when you drain the "hot water" drain, or is that just the water in the pipes? I ask as I cleaned the ta...

Mains Water connect attachment

It looks like the connector needed for the mains water inlet pipe is a regular "Garden hose" connector available at hardware stores.

Anything special needed for the mains water connect?

Thanks, Ian

Re: Mains Water Connect

We have a problem. We are using the water tank and water pump as normal. All works 100% - cold and hot water. However, I notice that water is dripping from the hole in the brass plate of the mains water inlet plug in the utility centre. See image above and attached again. Strange that that water is ...

Re: Whistling sound on acceleration

More information as requested! A Hot weather is summer weather in Ontario, Canada - 25 - 30 degrees C In cooler weather say 15 degrees, the issue is not as noticeable. B Just started noticing the whistling sound in July of this year. Last year, when we bought the JC in Germany and drove it there and...

Whistling sound on acceleration

I have a 2008 V6 turbo 3.0 litre 113,000 KMS. The whistle seems louder in hot weather, but generally is getting louder. I went to Mercedes in Canada. Here is what they said they did: "Hook up battery charger, hook up Xentry machine, perform short test - no codes. Perform smoke test from intake pipe,...

Re: Mains Water Connect

Thanks for your replies!

Actually Hans, our main power connect is above the mains water connect and there is a built - in pressure regulator tucked behind the grey panel in the back storage area.

Is there anyone on the forum that has experience using the mains water connect?

Thanks, Ian
