cant start engine. help needed

hi all!

the pull starter stick/lever is locked.
I dont know how it happened, maybe I pushed it a bit hard last time I turned the engine off, not sure.

the key goes to contact (not very smooth) and lights in dash goes on. bit I can not release/pull the starter. not even to 1st position.

I tried very very hard. it doesnt move.

I checked the other end of the cable that goes to the fuel pump, and the lever at the fuel pump seems fine.

If I move the lever at the fuel pump manually, glow plugs dont work and starter motor neither. it does nothing. I guess this might be caused by some electrical cut, since if I am not wrong, when you pull the starter to 1st position it releases something

i cant get to the back of the pull starter in the dash.

dont know what else to do. any help would be appreciated

Hallo,
ich habe versucht aus der Übersetzung das Problem herauszulesen ?!
Ich denke,dass der ZUG-VORGLÜH-STARSCHALTER sich schwer betätigen lässt
Da der Hebel an der E-Pumpe leicht geht,kann die Ursache nur am Zugstart-Knopf oder am Zug selbst liegen.
Eventuell Abhilfe: In der Apotheke eine Spritze mit Kanüle (Nadel) kaufen und diese mit einer Mischung von Öl und Rostlöser füllen!
Blech oberhalb des Armaturenbretts, vor Windschutzscheibe, abschrauben und mit der Spritze in die Außenhülle des Zugs einfahren und schmieren!
Auch den Schalter,dort wo eine mechanische Bewegung ist, auch schmieren und jetzt vorsichtig den Zugstarter bewegen. Gleichzeitig muss eine zweite Person die Metalllasche des Zugs, an der Einspritzpumpe mit einer Zange ziehen! Es sollte das Ölgemisch unten, an der Einspritzpumpe austreten.

Das gilt nur, wenn der Hebel an der Einspitzpumpe wirklich leicht geht!

Same at the knob: fill some oil / rust solver into movable parts.
Try moving the knob. A helping person has to tow the metal piece that is connected to injection pump lever.

Eine andere Idee:

da geht ein kleiner Bowdenzug vom Zugknopf zum Zündschloss, damit man in Fahrstellung die Zündung nicht ausschalten kann.
Vielleicht ist die Betätigung des Bowdenzugs blockiert?

Fixed the issue!

The starter switch has a lock in it. This lock gets released when you turn the key to the contact position, it releases and let you pull the starter. Well, a small spring went out of place not letting release the lock.

It was tough getting to the starter switch, but once there, it was pretty straight forward.
