I'm searching for a classic James Cook on the internet and I found a good one in Italy but, in my opinion, they are asking too much. It seems to be in very good condition. Even so I would like to have your help to find a fair price or to find another one.

Hmm - exported from Germany to Italy in August 2017 and still standing with german export-plates. No Registration in Italy within one year...? Why?
Plate carrier shows www.kfz-ps.de, seems to be a used car dealer. Perhaps they know something about this JC...
But the price is even very "proud"

I have some pictures of the Italian Plate. In your oppinion what should be the fair price for this van, knowing that everyting is in good condition? Just the shower inside is disabled.

Für die Stillegung würde ich genau hinterfragen. War die Dusche undicht? Dann suche nach Rost am Unterboden. Ist der Warmwasserbereiter defekt? Eine nicht funktionierende Dusche würde ich nicht akzeptieren, die Reparatur würde ich vom Kaufpreis abziehen.

Wenn
der Wohnraum einwandfrei ist,
die Technik (Motor, Antrieb) funktioniert
die Karosserie nicht rostig ist,
die Verklebung der Dachrinne dicht ist
der Kilometerstand wahr ist
mit anderen Worten: wenn es ein perfektes Auto ist
dann halte ich 19000 auch für angemessen. Viele alte James Cook in sehr gutem Zustand gibt es nicht mehr.

A big thanks to Andi, Carsten and Chrisco that helped me in 2018. After a long time of negotiations, I finally went to Italy to buy the JC. It's now in Portugal where I'll take care of it.
The general condition it's good, but it has some little rusty points and other issues that I want to discuss with the members in a new topic.
