Tips For Cleaning Shark Vacuum Nv360: How To Keep Your Device Longer

A machine is more complicated than it looks like. This means, to completely clean an electrical device, using wet tissue and wipe all the outside surfaces is not enough, especially with those assembled by different components.

WHEN DOES A SHARK NV360 NEED CLEANING?

There are several signs showing that it’s time you need to clean your Shark NV360, like other Shark products.

Suction power: You can easily recognise this problem when the power of obtaining debris becomes weak or totally lost. This is usually caused by a pinch of pet hair or bigger things that clog the filters, which need removing as soon as possible.

Dirt on the floor: If there is some dirt or debris left on the area you have vacuumed, your machine efficiency is not OK and needs cleaning inside.

Sound: A louder-than-usual sound is also an obvious sign showing that your device is losing its strength.

Uncomfortable smell: A normal Shark vacuum never gives off any oudor unless it is used for a too long time without cleaning.

PROCESS

Step 1: Disassemble the machine

We don’t mean that you extract all the screws and cables, just remove the canister, the set of HEPA filters and the hose handle. Make sure the machine is unfastened from electric power, also pay attention to how the filters are arranged to avoid difficulties when resembling.

Step 2: Check for congestion

Check if there is anything stuck up inside the engine, filters or even the dusting brush such as hair or a piece of toy. Use your hand or a wet piece of cloth to remove them, if those are unapproachable, use the skewer.

Step 3: Clean the canister

First, detach the canister and the dust cup and empty them, then sink them into warm water mixed with soap or dishwashing liquid. Remove the ending parts of the canisters and sink them, too. After a while, use the toothbrush to scrub those until they are clean. Take them out of the water and wipe them with a piece of cloth.

Step 4: Clean the filters

Foam filters are not recommended to clean because they are easy to be broken, so if you want, just clean them with pure water and make sure that no problems happen with them.

The HEPA filter of a Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 is often located behind the filter grill. Take the grill out and you will see the HEPA filter, clean it with fresh water and leave until it is completely dry.

Step 5: Tidy the rotating brush head

Put the Shark vacuum lying on the floor and to see the rotating brush. You will see dirt, debris and maybe a lot of hair wrapped around the brush. Use a piece of cloth to wipe the dust and then use your hand or scissor to remove the hair.

Step 6: Sanitise the hose

The handle hose of this upright vacuum is easy to detach. Once you disconnect it, you will see lots of dust and debris inside. Put it into a sink of soap then use the brush prepared to clean it, make sure there isn’t anything left in the hose.

Wash the hose again with clean water. You can do these several times until it is completely clean, then hang it, remember to put it vertically so that the water can drip out.

Step 7: Reassemble the device

Make sure all the components are dry before doing this, also remember the arrangement of those to avoid any unexpected problems when restarting the machine.

CONCLUSION

Opposing to how complicated a Shark navigator deluxe nv360 is assembled, its components are rather easy to remove. Hope that the above Shark Navigator NV360 reviews can help you maintain your vacuum cleaner better.
