Hi all,
I'm new to this forum. This is the first and probably not last time I've a question of which I hope a 'JC veteran' could help me.
Since 2 weeks I'm the proud owner of a JC Sprinter 316CDI, 2006. I'm familiarizing myself with the JC and preparing our first trip.
Before leaving I would like to install a microwave in the space just below the cookers, in the manual called 'mikrowellenfach'. Westfalia installed a 230v socket at the back for this reason (page 82 of the German manual) But the dimensions of the opening are very small and additionally the opening has round corners which doesn't help either. Even the smallest compact microwaves I've seen, don't fit. The ones that come closest are approx. 1 cm too high. So they won't get through the opening.

Anyone knows which brand and model microwave will fit and/or the Westfalia designers had in mind when they decided to predestinate this space for installing a microwave? I contacted Westfalia Mobil and 5 or 6 dealers and they don't know.

I really appreciate your help.
