Re: Mikroschalter an allen Türen - Zentralverriegelung
Moin,
I suspect your problem with the electric locking is not because of the electric contacts, or microswitches. The problem is likely due to sluggish mechanical linkage on the door locks. The libricant on the linkage dried up, and the cold climate further aggrevates the of the linkages' inability to move freely. When the linkage cannot move freely, the microswitches that detects when the latch is locked is not activated by the linkage. This causes the Sprinter's control processor to refuse to lock - for security reasons.
I suggest you try using the key to try mechanically lock and unlock each doors a number of times. This means not using the key fob remote control. Do not force it if you cannot lock and unlock the latch without turning hard on the lock cylinder as you can break the key. If you door cannot lock and unlock with relative easy, it is an indication the linkages are sluggish and need lubricating. To correct this you have to remove the trim panels at the door to gain access. If you do a good job in cleaning and lubricating the linkages you will find they operate much better.

Thanks Vince! Sounds reasonable and more like an easy task. I'll see tomorrow if it helps (if rain will let me leave the house )
