Passenger seat height adjustment

Good Evening. I read in the forum several posts about thoughts on installing an undercarriage to the passenger seat from a Sprinter Comfort seat. I have a passenger comfort seat in my workshop and am investigating how to carry out this work. Has anyone actually done this or had any ideas how to do it.? My present thinking is to bolt a plate underneath the comfort Base using the existing holes and bolts that secure the comfort seat to the runners. Then bolt the new plate to the existing runners on my JC( which are closer together than with a normal seat Base) Then of course swap the seat pads and upholstery. Any ideas as it would be good have more adjustment in the passenger seat. Adrian

Die Sitze und deren Befestigungen sind sicherheitsrelevante Fahrzeugkomponenten und vom Hersteller geprüft.

Niemals würde ich an den Sitzen oder deren Befestigung was ändern das nicht original ab Werk geliefert wurde.

Denk an Produktehaftung und die aus die aus einem Unfall resultierenden Folgen.

Ich kann Dir deswegen nur von einem Umbau abraten.
