Fraron battery charger

Beitrag von Adrianlle » 25.01.2018 10:34

Good Morning from the UK. My battery charger is definitely broken so I need to buy a replacement. I have 200w solar panels on the roof and also have a Victron 350w inverter. So I don’t need to use the charger often but it is good to have. Fraron seems to be the most cost effective option for an onboard charger but I would welcome comments from others who have replaced their charger. My question with the Fraron is whether I will easily be able to connect it to the wires that charge the the Mercedes starter battery as well? Thank you. Adrian

Der Anschluss der Starterbatterie ist kein Problem.

Thank you Linus. I will order a Fraron. Did you also put inline fuses between the charger and the batteries and also the starter battery? If so, what Amp fuses did you use? Adrian.
