How do you change bulb in top window fluorescent?

Greetings from the U.K. I’ve bought 2 new compact fluorescent bulbs for the top window lights ( as they will soon be unavailable). However I can’t work out how to remove the plastic holder. I’ve tried pulling and squeezing but am afraid Im going to break the plastic! Can somebody tell me how to do it , please? Thanks.

Thanks for this but that’s a diagram for the lower light by the big window. The lights I mean on the yellow furniture are the top lights which have no screws. Any further ideas. Thanks.

I recently removed the upper lights like this: First turn the lights so that they face downwards. Then insert a flat-blade screwdriver between the light and the frame on the right and left. The light has two tabs that hold it in the frame at the side. It then simply falls out. Please only do this when it is warm, otherwise the plastic is brittle and the tabs will break off. When the light is out, there is a plug that you can pull off. The frame is held in place by a screw, you can see now.

I hope you meant the lights by the top side vent windows?

Thanks for the photos. I had been struggling before with trying to press in the circular protrusion on each side. However the photos made it clear that it was the tab above them that needs to be pressed in order to release the fittings. So photos a real help. Bulbs now changed.

Super! It's almost easier with a knife than with a screwdriver. Did you use LED retrofit as a replacement?

I couldn’t find a led plug and play retrofit so although I could have installed a led strip, for the time being I just installed two new compact fluorescent. In the fluorescent light lower down above the small table I have just replaced some older led strip with some cob led strip ( wired via a dimmer with a remote). Its much nicer than the older led strip I replaced the flourescent with about 6 years ago.

Has anyone replaced the fluorescent tubes in the Heki with led? The fluorescents are so poor that I never use those lights. If so are there plug and play led bulbs or is it with led strip ( and isolating the starter, ballast etc for the fluorescent? Thanks
