what do you do when there is nothing left to repair?

just thinking that will probably bring horrible bad luck and misery..... but yesterday and disassembled (several times - as it is not obvious how it works) the high window blind assembly, and retensioned the roller.
and it now snaps back as good as new.
how satisfying.

But now I realize ("touch wood") that everything is basically working correctly. I'm amazed.

(I guess the very last frontier of JC maintenance could be removing and cleaning the upholstery, which after 20 years has some stains. but that seems excessive)

I guess the only solution is to drive it and go camping somewhere, before winter arrives..
