how useful / necessary is bluetooth from a 12v battery charger

I am deciding between a couple of alternatives for a replacement 12v battery charger (to replace the original 230v unit we have with a 115v unit)

(for two reasons. 1. to more easily use the native 115v shore power here in NA and 2. because an electrician here told me that electrical components such as capacitors deteriorate over 20 years and could be risky to continue using)

1 choice is the FraRon 115v unit which is almost identical to the 230v original unit - same case
the other advantage is that it has the same two connectors (a 2 pin for the starter batter and a 6 pin for the Aux batteries and I think the System display)
am I correct though that the only thing the original charger adds to the display is to light up the "Plug" symbol when plugged into Shore Power?
and the FraRon unit works with all types of batteries, including LiFerPo

But FraRon reminds me that their unit does not have Bluetooth capability.
Most others these days (while they might lack the same connectors) do have Bluetooth.

why would Blue tooth be valuable?
how worthwhile would it be?

I have to keep reminding people that this JC is 19 years old and is pretty simple in it's design and function.
not a lot of fancy features that require monitoring (I don't think)
