JJC towbar
Hello JC friends. I would like to add a towbar to my JC and wondered if you could advise on the correct way to connect to the JC electrical supply? Is there a dedicated supply? I am also unsure how the reversing sensors will be affected when towing? Thank you in advance

as always: It depends.
If your JC has the electrical preparation kit for the tow bar istalled then it is easy. There is a set of cable just under the JC which you can connect to the tow bar power plug. It also includes a cable which switches off the reversing sensors and the fog rear light.
If you don't have the preparation kit then you need to connect cabling to the rear light. More work.
The preparation kit is called "Elektrik für Anhängersteckdose E 57 109,04 €" Maybe you can find this in the documentation of your JC.
