What diameter cold water pipe?

Beitrag von Adrianlle » 09.07.2022 12:32

Greetings from the U.K. The Cook is in the workshop at the moment so I can’t measure. I need urgently to replace the cold water pipe to the kitchen tap. From memory I think the internal diameter is 12mm. Can anyone confirm that it correct me so that I don’t the wrong size of flexible pipe ?

Thanks

In ours it is 10mm inner diameter. Just removed the thetford and connected the two hoses left.

Thanks Matthias. Off subject, but because I know you have done this, can you tell me how to remove the inspection cover under the sink drainer to get at the rcd. There are screw’s around the perimeter of the inspection cover but do you first need to remove the big red switch that kills power? If so , how to remove that? Thanks

Hi Adrianlle,
I do not have a big red main power switch. Neither there nor anywhere else...
I am not sure whether this switch is standard?
Maybe you can send a photo?

Best regards,
Matthias

All sorted now. The yellow furniture Cook has a big red switch next to the water pump switch. It turns off the supply from the batteries to the Fusebox etc. Thwre were more screws than I at first saw on the inspection plate. Once all the screws were out the plate could be moved enough for me to get my fat fingers to the rcd for rewiring it. The project is not yet completed and I will post some photos and a description once completed. In the meantime thank you for your help.
