I habe JC 2008, ich weiss nicht die richtige stellung des Ventils (siehe foto).

I do not understand what the valve is for and what the normal operating position should be. See picture, I assume this is the correct position.

in my JC the valve is between half and closed. It regulates the speed and so the noise of the heating water.

My theory was that it is a 'bleed' valve and used to get air out of the system and should be closed except when changing the fluid. But this is a guess. Your suggestion is a good one - I suppose to regulate the speed of water flowing through radiators/water heater for optimum heat dissipation.
