A question ... how much is the space between top bed and ceiling?

About 60 cm in average. It depends, where you measure. The roof is curved and there is the sliding roof window. So at some points, it's only 55 cm.

Admin, I was looking at your signature.

Your JC has 7G-tronic, the last automatic transmission. Isn't it?

I didn't think that this transmission was available on JC.

Out of the 527 NCV3-James Cooks that were ever built, only the last 5 (my guess) have the 7G-Tronic.

This transmission was available in January 2012. The last James Cook left the Sprinter factory in Düsseldorf in February 2012 (and was converted by Westfalia in April).

Even James Cooks with an initial registration in 2013 could be built by Mercedes in December 2011 with the 5 speed automatic.

PS: yes, the 7G is the most recent. The new VS30 has the same (with V6)

Hi Peter,

I'm out of the subject, but do you have any idea of the geographical repartition of the 527 NCV3? I have the feeling I was the first to register in Belgium, 2 years ago.
