TV Bracket installation options?

Hi,
Has anyone retrofitted a TV bracket to the NCV3 JC? I think that the original one is no longer available, however I would like to add a similar one to the factory installed bracket for a screen. I assume that there must be a supporting structure behind the back wall to fix a bracket to, as screwing into the plastic is not very strong at all. Does anyone have photos of the bracket and how it attaches to the library wall?
Thanks!

Hi Fleep,
I can send you a pic of mine. Basically it is an aluminium extruded pole with slots in it, to which you clamp a swinging arm with a VESA plate.
The pole is about 3 feet tall, with sturdy attachment at either end at the wall above the fridge. The pole is handy for something to hang onto as you clamber up into the bunks. You might be bale to inspect what's behind the plastic facia through the ventilation slots (maybe).

Aha, is the TV bracket the metal plate with the two bolts coming out of it? Also how much work is there to get to this panel? It's looks like yours just swung out but that's probably easier said than done.
Thanks for the picture

Here another picture to see the fixing points, one of the green is not shown.
You can also see the upper bracket of the TV holder.

I have been busy with this upgrade. When I removed the library wall, it seems that the plastic fur the wall is not so strong, and I am worried that this will crack in time with the weight of an arm and screen. So, looking at the options, it seems that the wooden frame is very sturdy, and is held in place with metal brackets. This seems a better option to me than attaching to the plastic.
So, I found a company to make me a custom TV bracket for the JC from solid aluminium. The brackets are 12mm thick, and mount to the wood. The outer brackets hold a pole 800mm high.
Here is the work so far...

And, it is done. What a massive job for something seemingly easy. The bracket is now so strong that it will hold a 60 inch TV!
Next job, reverse camera! That should be a 5 minute job after this one

Hi,
Yes, you have to remove two of the large plastic panels. One by the main lounge window, which requires only to remove the table rail using Allen bolt keys. The rest is held on with crazy strong velcro and pop clips. This means pulling and feeling where the fastenings are located, but it does come off with a lot of swearing and pulling.
The library wall is a lot harder to figure out, but there are four pop clips on the wall that comes off the side of the van, plus a couple more on the side with the bathroom door light. Then screws are hidden behind one of the aluminium pieces above the fridge. You need to remove that first, then you see the screws.
If you want photos of the panels they are still off the van as I am running a number of extra cables and installing power supplies, so I can show you where all the hidden clips are located. The Mercedes WIS guide does describe the process but it is not so detailed.
Are you planning to do the same installation?

Hi Fleep,
One day I'll change my screen but the most urgent is to change the tap of the bathroom.
I'll be happy with some pictures (by email vtx(at)skynet.be); wich aluminum parts above the fridge do you mean?
