Hi,

The codes are listed on the datacard for the JC. I don't know where you get the definition of them, although many are quite obvious, like

XL8 WEIGHT VARIANT 3880 KG

I think the code for the panoramic roof is

FZ8 CONVENIENCE OPENING/CLOSING W. INFRARED REM.CONTRL

Happy to be corrected on that though. :P

Thank you fleep. Yes, I think it is correct.

I know that codes related to a specific van are listed on the datacard of that van and that there are some internet sites reporting the complete list of codes for that van starting from the vin number.

In some cases it is easy to understand what a code refers to. In other is more difficult.

But I'd like to know the list of all possible codes of a 2007-2012 James Cook in order to understand not only what that van has, but also what that van has not.

Perhaps mine is a stupid question ...

OK, I understand. I don't think that you will find such a list. The codes are internal to Mercedes, and the WIS/EPC tools that use them refer to different repair instructions based on the codes for a van. The codes are almost exclusively about the base van/chassis (plus the camper shell), not the camper parts like the fridge, beds etc. While the WIS instructions do show camper repair guides, they are going to apply to all of the JCs.

Also, I don't think that all of the Westfalia options would appear on the list, as most of them just fall under the code Z02 James Cook Classic Camper, and the heating would have been standard fit from a certain build date. I haven't seen any options on the datasheets like TV bracket that would have been personalisation options, I don't know how these were ordered (maybe outside of OASIS). If you can find someone who bought a van from new and has documentation about the order that might help...

I have looked at many JC datacards and they all are about the base van, and just say Z02.
