ich finde keinerlei Infos ob der Sherpa Translift auch standardmäßig beim NCV3 möglich ist. Ich habe das auch noch nie bei einem gesehen. Wäre hier über Infos und Teilenummern (falls anders als beim T1N) sehr dankbar.

Bin etwas weiter gekommen. Die Teilenummer war einmal 282003248055 und laut Westfalia wurde die Produktion wegen geringer Nachfrage eingestellt. Mir ist immer noch ein Rätsel wie der montier wird, falls da doch jemand Infos oder Bilder hat, gerne her damit.

Falls es für andere auch von Interesse ist, ich bin inzwischen an eine Montageanleitung für den NCV3 gekommen. Das hilft sehr viel weiter. Ich denke man kommt mit einen Translift für ein anderes Model auch hin, allerdings bleiben die Befestigungen der Knackpunkt. Vielleicht hat ja hier jemand eine Idee wie man da rankommt.

Hier ein Bild wie es am Ende am NCV3 aussieht. Ich habe allerdings oben noch eine zweite Querstange montiert, um in der Mitte eine dritte Stange samt Halter montieren zu können. Dadurch kann ich auch kürzere Boards mitnehmen. Die oberen Teile der Halter habe ich inzwischen entfernt. Durch die Biegung liegt das Board ganz komisch drin und ein zweites wäre schwierig. Ohne ist es einfach plan an der Querstange oben und lässt sich leichter befestigen (siehe zweites Bild).

Both, the insert and the screws are sealed and it was mounted by a professional. I don't expect water to become an issue as there is also no real water pressure on it.

Depends on the mounted position of the rack on the plates. You can move the base bars up and down. The lower it gets, the wider it gets obviously. Mine was adjusted that the car height will not increase. The overall width is not wider than the mirror. The wind noise is awful, but I fixed it by putting something (for now a towel, better solution tbd.) between the front rack and the roof, that was causing most noise.

How many board do you transport ?

I transported so far only one waveboard but I am a kitesurfer and I want to carry 1 waveboard (big minimalibu) plus 2 shorter kitewaveboards. I bought a big windsurfbag for that to also put some wet gear in it. Im general think the sherpa will fit 2 windsurfboards in your case.

What about mast, sails and boom ?

Sherpa offers a mast holder, you could also put a bag on it with all the gear inside, depending on the weight and size. In theory you could mount a sherpa on both sides of the car.
