Hi all,

Does anyone know how to remove the light cover (see pic) to get at the lightbulb? I want to replace it with LEDS, but I think the previous owner broke something and stuck it on so I need to understand how it should be attached before I cut through the silicone that he used.

I think my problem is that the previous owner broke the plastic fixing up the top (behind the gray panel) and then glued the whole lamp cover onto the door frame with clear silicon sealant. He also glued in the white decorative strips which I have already carefully pulled out.

Anyway, I will have a go at separating it with a knife. I wonder if I would be able to buy replacement parts if I make things worse?
