Mercedes Manufacture plate

Does anyone know where the Mercedes manufacturing plate is located? Usually inside the door somewhere.
I need it to show month and year of manufacture e.g. 01/07 and the city of manufacture.
I need to know where this is as Canada Customs will not let it in the country without it being in place.
Maybe someone can send a copy of their plate looks like, so that I can arrange for a photo.
