Rear roof vent removal

We are considering installing a Fantastic Fan in the rear roof in place of the original roof vent.

Has anyone removed the rear roof vent or does anyone have instructions on removal of the rear roof vent? In addition, does anyone know the dimensions of the hole once the rear vent has been removed. I believe the standard is 14 1/4" square?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ian

Thanks Thomas. We have a 2008 JC, NC3V version. Has anyone with that model installed a fan or Air conditioning unit in the rear in place of the standard vent?

Moin!
We have a Fan Tastic Vent installed - and it is great, nighttime we just open it, if it’s too warm we start the fan either to blow the air out or cool air in, when cooking we blow the air out.
With a ventilation part in the front door window, we keep the fan temperature controlled running when we are in a warm region.
So it was a good decision, we imported directly from the USA that time. Today I would consider the MaxFan or again the Fan Tastic Vent.
