1. Where are you hidden in the U.S.A.? If you're around in early September, there is usually a get-together of Airstream Westfalias on the east coast. The administrator of this forum has attended several times.

The first few sticky posts include a map of many Airstream Westfalia owners. You can contact the administrator of this German forum for more details on the map he put together on his many trips around the USA.
3. There are English manuals available at this site, including a repair manual. But they are for the USA version. Might be helpful.
