Herzlichen Dank für diese sehr ausführliche Anleitung. Ich hoffe zwar, dass der Ausbau der bereits 2. Schiene nicht mehr nötig ist, da ich die "Spacy-Verstärkung" eingebaut habe.
Dieses Forum zeichnet sich durch sehr konkrete Hilfestellungen und Tipps aus!

nun habe ich auch das Problem mit der Schiebetüre und zusätzlich auch einen Riss in der Wanne.
Spacy hat einmal eine Anleitung für die Schiebetüre bereitgestellt, die aber anscheinend nicht mehr verfügbar ist. Kann mir diese jemand zuschicken / posten?

Unsere dritte Schiene ist jetzt auch kaputt und die vierte wird morgen von ricnic angeliefert.

Ik lees over een verstevigde rail. Is die nog te koop? Zou er geen willen. Graag informatie over Kosten incl. porto.

I'll go to the dealer but I know the answer... all what about James Cook makes them afraid with negative answer.

It sseems they cann't search an item not produced by MB.

It is done ...
here are some informations for whom do the job.

The part is available by MB. I have insisted they search a sparepart Q***** ( first they said it is not a MB reference. )
Price : 85€ excl VAT ( info : a lot of spare parts are in stock )



Follow the precedent instructions for dismantle.(see post above )
I add my contribution :

let the van be warm >20°C ( by cold temperatures, old plastics are breakable )
first remove the cover in the the corridor.
Than unscrew, unclick the 10 red points ( on the cover inside the bathroom ) shown in this picture :
note to avoid any breakage, I prefer to push the green pin from the corridor to the bathroom in place of pull the cover



You have to drill holes in the new guide; 3mm diam drill bit is required.



Because the old parts was breaked in the external lower wing of the curve, I produce a reinforcement in this area.
It consists by a metal sheet and a spacer both from my scrap.
The thickness of the spacer is tuned step by step to 8,25mm
original screw is replaced by M6 x 35





Before rebuilding, I tested my reinforcement part + old broken guide + the door : all works perfectly.




Note : the rebuild takes more time than disassembly. I don't use an electric screwdriver; screws are little, I feel better the forces manually.
A second set of holes in the wood informs me that the precedent owner changed this part in the past ...
