Hi, I am looking to add an electric heater (230V) to the standard heating system in a 2008 model.
This way I can choose if I want to use diesel or electricity to heat the floors and hot water.
Has anyone done this or know if it is possible?
Regards
Rolf
Adding an electric water heater
Re: Adding an electric water heater
Hi, hot water shouldn't be too much trouble. You just add a heating plug to the heatexchanger-barrel.
The floor heating (I never heard of that beeing installed in a model built before 2009) is a different story since it needs to get the pump going.

Hi Rolf,
I just read in a thread of Holger, that his Webasto Dual Top Evo can do both, heating with Diesel and with 230V.
