Water pressure dropped - must be a leak?

Beitrag von lunatic » 09.10.2024 11:00

The water pressure from our water pump has always been OK. Recently I attached the mains water connect in the utility centre and ran the water through the system. It seemed to work OK, but was a strong flow initially.

Now when I turn the water on using the pump, there is a slight delay until water appears and now it is not quite as strong as before. There must be a leak somewhere in the system?

I am planning to examine all the water pipes I can to see if a hose clamp needs tightening. I do have a spare water pump if that is the problem.

Does anyone have a diagram of how all the water pipes are connected in the JC? This would be great as I can then inspect every connection. I do have a snake light for my cell phone to get behind the panels.

If anyone has any advice, ideas or where to look first I would appreciate it.

I do not think we will be using the mains water again if that is the problem!

Much appreciated, Ian from Canada
