rust removal & paint code

I am preparing to tackle some of the small rust spots on my 2006 JC

it doesn't look that bad but there are a dozen little spots - tiny really, like 1cm diameter - where the paint got chipped I expect - which should probably be treated.

while I am nervous about leaving my JC looking like it has a skin disease, with all kinds of little bare metal spots, it can only get worse if unattended

watching videos it doesn't look that difficult to tackle myself (and worse case, if I mess it up I can take it to a professional shop)

1. has anyone done their own rust removal for small spots?

2. does anyone know the paint code for the white version (which after 19 years is not longer brilliant white, if it ever was)
I am not seeing a paint code on the door sticker.

(Maybe a professional body shop can scan the side of the JC and sell me some touchup paint.)

Napa Paint,
maybe you have one close by,
paint matches automotive paint and sells it in spray cans.
You can order it by the MB paint code.
Get also two ingredient clear coat (in spray cans) from them.
Clean the spot, use rust inhibitor and good epoxy primer.
Sand the primer, clean and mask the spot to be painted.
Spray paint with two coats and then clear coat it with few coats.

The most important part to achieve professional like look is to sand the clear coat with very fine grid sand paper and then wax it with paint cutting compound.

J'effectue la même chose sur le miens. Je n'ai pas la place pour le mettre a l'intérieur et refaire tout en une seule fois, donc je travail pour zone
J'avais des point de rouille comme toi qui sortait de la carrosserie. J'ai essayé simplement de poncer mais la rouille est vraiment profonde dans la tôle. Du coup j'ai sabler localement, apprêt epoxy puis peinture 2K

but interestingly, 9215 Alaska Weiss is not easily available in North America.

I'll have to look harder.

and good news, my local NAPA store custom mixes spray paint and can do 9215.

Oui, il faut faire fabriquer la teinte a la demande, c'est souvent le cas et en plus la peinture est de meilleure qualité.
