charger batterie

Hello every body

Sorry , i don't speak German.

I'd like to know how works the auxilary battery charging on my JC 309d from 1985 ? Because my battery does not charge when i'm on the road.

I have a converter 220 to 12 volt that charges the auxilary battery when i am stopped and connected to 220v. ( under the last seats )



But i don't know where is the stuff that charges both motor battery and auxilarybattery during the road, then separate them when i'm stopped.

Can some one tell me where is this stuff (because mine seams to be broken )

das Trennrelais befindet sich im Sitzkasten des Fahrersitzes. Ich hoffe, dass ich dir hiermit helfen konnte.

Hallo Aymeric,
an deinem Trennrelais fehlen Kabel !!! Die blaue Leitung sollte bei laufendem Motor 13,8 - 14,2 Volt haben, gegen Masse ( Minuspol oder blanke Stelle an der Karosserie) gemessen. Das rote Kabel muss 2x vorhanden sein. einmal von der Lichtmaschine oder vom Pluspol der Fahrzeugbatterie, das andere Kabel zur Aufbaubatterie. Ich hoffe, dass du mit meinen Beschreibungen etwas anfangen kannst. Das Relais muss zwischen Klemme 30 und Klemme 87 bei laufendem Motor Durchgang haben, das heisst, beidseitig 13,8 - 14,2 Volt.

Exact, the connection to the main batery was missing .

Now it is fixed and it is working !
