Re: AW: batteries auxiliary
Hallo ,
So long,
Stefan

Re: batteries auxiliary
Cheers Mauro,
how often and how long is your fridge compressor running? 2-4 times for about 5 minutes in one hour?
If the compressor is running all the time, the best batteries get depleted in no time.
If the compressor is running as long as your fridge at home, you batteries maybe worn out.
You could also install a flowmeter to your batteries. It will indicate how much power consumption you have.
Greetings,
Janno

Re: batteries auxiliary
Hi,
i´m a big fan of the Efoy even though I haven´t got one myself (lack of space and money
). Be aware: the Efoy is not that sufficient if its used in a hot environment.
If your batteries are old, it is most likely that they are worn out. So, how old are they?
Most times it´s not the compressor that is broken. It could be missing cooling fluid or those things the guys wrote above.
Greetz,
Janno

Re: batteries auxiliary
Hi Mauro,
it could be that you dealer didn´t charge the batteries so they might had a depth discharge (if they are empty and not charged over one month).

Re: batteries auxiliary
Hi Mauro,
what temperatur was inside your JC?
On my last trip this week my fridge ran over 40 hours.
12 hours we had about 35 degrees: the compressor ran all the time
28 hours we had 20 - 25 degrees: the compressor ran half of the time
buuuut: my fridge is not coded correctly. At temperature level 1, I always got -15 degrees in my freezing compartment and about 0 degrees in the normal compartment.
after 40 hours I had 12,3 Volts and 3 bars left. No charging in between.
I think you fridge is just fine (if you had high temperatures inside the JC). Your batteries maybe worn out. My batteries are older and seem to last longer.
When did you buy your JC?
