Hi
My batteries are reaching the end of their lives and I have realised that the previous owner had installed wet (lead acid XV31MF ) batteries rather than gel batteries. As the batteries no longer seem to hold charge and appear to be putting out hydrogen gas I would like to replace them with more suitable batteries.
My JC is a 2003 model, could anyone recommend Gel or AGM battery that would be a good fit for the battery bay? Also are any adjustment required to switch between battery types?
Longer term I would like to add solar charging so ideally I would like a battery type that would be suitable for that use.
Thanks in advance for any help
Conor
Which battery?
Re: Which battery?
