Yellow seat adjustment knob- replacement

Good Morning. My yellow knob on the drivers seat for adjusting front seat height has snapped. Isri have no yellow replacement but gave me a.part number for a black one from mercedes. I have the black one but cannot find a way to fit it. Can anyone help please with the process of fitting the replacement knob? Adrian
