Green Paint

Greetings from Canada!

I'm thinking about moving up from my California Exclusive to a James Cook. I found a pic of a James Cook with similar paint to my VW. I'd love to get one in this colour if possible...

I can't seem to find any info about what year the colour was available in etc. I've only seen this one picture of it. Any info about it (or if a board member has one for sale) would be greatly appreciated!!

Das ist ein Modell von 2000-2003.

Die Farbe ist aber sehr sehr selten. Da wurden nur ein paar von gebaut. Eines davon fährt hier im Forum. Vieleicht verkauft er es ja.

I am drining a green 1998 James Cook, please see pictures below
First of all we love our James so the van is not for sale.

I am afraid that the green is a slightly different one in comparison to the typical VW California green

Thanks for the reply and all the pictures! My Exclusive is a later model (99') than the van in the link you sent. It's called Ontario green and looks very similar to your van. It's a great looking colour!

I just checked Prince George - that's far north!
Columbia Icefields was my northest point so far


I wish you luck to find your James Cook in the right shape and right interior setting. To repaint or using foil in the prefered green would be a good option for you.

The Columbia Icefields are pretty cool. I haven't been there in years.

I have a feeling I may not get one in the right colour. The more I get to know about the James Cook, the more I'm liking the '04-'06 interior.
But if I see the right green...I might change my mind : )

Es war grün, es war NICHT metalisiert und ich habe es grün angemalt und es ist wunderschön!

I think that looks pretty good indeed! I've not seen one that shade of green before.
