Gelöste Klebenaht am Panoramadach-Schiebefenster

Hallo JC Freunde,

nachdem ich unser Acryldach mehrmals geklebt habe will ich es nun, da es Beulen wirft und einreist gegen ein Neues ersetzen.

Weiß jemand wo man die Dachhaube bekommen kann und was diese kostet?

It costs 2000€ ; the new one is produced for Renault.
It's easy to replace.
Be carefull with the white sticker : it masks a hole. I lost this sticker after some days during the winter and a lot of condensation water came into the roof...

First of all, I want to say hello to everyone, I am new here.
I have been following you since 2 years, and I think this is the best James Cook forum I have seen. Thank you, is very helpfull.
This is my 3rd James Cook; 1st: 316cdi 02, 2nd: 318cdi 08, and my new one 318cdi 09. I am so happy with the new one, but it is the first time I have a panoramic roof, and it is not working very well.

I have the Renault Cristal Roof and I have the same problem as you.
Do you know how to fix it? I mean, to take out all the water and water stain, and then to put something in the hole to avoid getting in all the water?
The rest of the roof is perfect (the glue), and I prefer not to unglued all the window to fix this.

Hi Condelolo,

If I understand well, your small sticker is away and the hole is free with condenstation between the two panels.
This was I did :
- operate a cold dry day better in the winter but you may do it now and redo if necessary in the winter. (Cold air is less humid than hot air)
insert a very small diameter flexible hose in the hole (I bought it in a pharmacy (Apotheke), in use to inject with a syringe) be carefull, the hole is only half obstructed to avoid high vacuum between the panels.
- connect the hose to a small vacuum pump; I imagine let it in the hose of a domestic vaccum cleaner works well too.
- wait hours and hours and do it more than one time (I did it +/- 3 x 6 hours)
- to give a better positionning (= near the water drops) insert a steel rope in the hose before connecting, curve it and by pinch and rotation you can obtain some results.
- after each sequence and as final operation, I obstructed the hole with transparent tape in use to repare my windsurf sails.

After now 6 months, I don't have any drops Inside. But you see the old marks of the dried drops, because I can't clean Inside ...

This is exactly what has happened. Same as you.

I am going to do the same. But I have a lot of marks of the dried drops between the panels. I have a lot of water inside.
Lets see how it works what you have done. And maybe, if the marks are to big, I will unglued the panels and fix them well.

Hallo zusammen,
nachdem MB mein Panoramadach ausgebaut hatte (Nov. 16) und die Plastikhaube neu verklebte (180 Grad verdreht), ist das Teil jetzt doch wieder undicht geworden und nicht nur das, die Plastikhaube hat jetzt auch noch einen ca. 10 cm langen Riss.
Hängt das evtl. mit dem um 180 Grad verdrehten Einbau zusammen?
Wie auch immer.
Frage: Weiss jemand, wo man die Plastikhaube noch bestellen kann ? MB kann sie wohl nicht bestellen. Die empfehlen evtl. Einbau eines neuen Panoramadaches, welches wohl bei MB noch vorrätig sei (1500 EUR netto !).

Hallo Sigurd, hallo an alle Panoramadach-Geschädigte,
laut Auskunft von Westfalia lässt sich die Plexiglasscheibe nicht neu verkleben - ein Austausch sei nötig. Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit das gleiche Problem und eben die obige Auskunft erhalten. Über Mercedes-Benz-Service wurde eine neue Panoramascheibe bestellt und eingebaut. Die Bestellnummer teilte mir Westfalia mit. Die neue Scheibe hat eine Beschriftung von Renault! Da bei meiner alten Scheibe auch die Plexiglasscheibe gesprungen war, konnte ich diese Reparatur über die Teilkasko abrechnen.
Vielleicht hielft das weiter?

Hallo Spacy,
es wurde die komplette Iso-Scheibe ersetzt.
Die Bestellnummer auf der MB-Rechnung ist MQ990001539765.
Die MB-Werkstatt hat direkt mit der Versicherung abgerechnet, ich musste meinen Selbstbehalt von 150 Euro bezahlen.
Der Rechnungsbetrag mit Einbau betrug 2185 Euro.

vielen Dank für die Informationen.
Linus, heißt das, dass das gesamte verschiebbare Teil (Fahrteil mit Glas- und und bereits werkseitig verklebter Acrylscheibe) ausgetauscht wurde?
Wurde dazu das gesamte Panoramadach vom Auto abgenommen und später wieder eingesetzt?
Bei welcher Werkstatt wurde das denn vorgenommen (Mercedes Vertragshändler?, Ort).
Der Hinweis auf Teilkasko war auch sehr interessant - wär ich nie drauf gekommen.

gerne geschehen, man muss sich ja mal revanchieren können
Hallo Sigurd,
die Ausführung wurde in der Vertragswerkstatt (MB-Nutzfahrzeuge) durchgeführt. Wie genau der Aus- und Einbau durchgeführt wurde, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis. MB hat dafür zwar genaue Reparaturanleitungen, diese liegen mir aber nicht vor.
Es wurde die komplette bewegliche Doppelscheibe vorne ausgetauscht. Die hintere, nicht bewegliche, wurde nicht gewechselt.

Vertragswerkstätte heißt n i c h t Niederlassung ?
Da unterscheiden die bei MB ja wohl sehr genau.
Kannst du mir auch den Ort nennen. Bin mir nicht sicher, ob überall die Kompetenz bei Vertragswerkstätten die gleiche ist.

I replaced my Pano 2 years ago and wrote a tutorial.
It is really easy to do.

If you have a new pano roof, be carefuul with the white circle sticker. It masks a small hole.
If the sticker is removed, water from condensation will arrive between the two panels. (see below)

PS because I''m afraid the new one is not better than the original, I mask the ouline of the glass with a dark tape. The original glue doesnot appreciate the sun...
