Dear forum users,
could you help me to understand which could be a correct quotation based on year (2007, 2008, 2009, ...) for an NCV3 James Cook? I'd like just to know your opinion.
I understand that it could be very difficult but I'd like just to have an approximative idea.
Thank you very much for your help.

Re: James Cook NCV3 quotation
Hello!
From my investigation and based on quotes given from mobile.de I would see the pricing today as >45.000€ for higher mileage and 2007 builds to <75.000€ for later once.
A good assumption is around 50.000€!
I guess, a more precise guess is based on facts and individual information possible but not simply on build years.
Take your time and be aware, that almost all will have typical issues, ...and nearly all can be fixed!
Best Regards

Yes. That's my impression too.
In Italy market is cheaper than in Germany but vehicles are in worse conditions.
I prefer Germany market ( and Austrian and Netherland too). Problem is to find the right one. Price between 50.00 and 60.000 is ok for me.

The price can vary a lot depending on the mileage and conditions. I bought mine and imported to the UK via a German dealer who specializes in Westfalia vans. Last year in September I paid 47000 Euro for a 2007 van with around 55000 km and it was a high base specification (automatic transmission, parktronic, Bi Xenon, heated seats etc) and had a few extras such as solar and inverter. This year the same dealer is advertising a 2007 V6 with similar KM in Holland for 60,000 Euro. My van was imported to Germany via Italy and the condition was excellent, zero rust and full Mercedes history. I also viewed some awful vans in Germany which were truly shocking, so location might not be the main consideration.
I spent around 4 months looking and several trips to see vans, and in the end, I went with the best one that I could find. I narrowly missed a 2012 van with 5000km, but it was around 70,000 euro.
Maybe contact a few specialists and ask if they know of any coming up for sale. A 2007 just sold in the UK at a Westfalia dealer for around 43000 GBP, so they do appear all over Europe.
I can recommend speaking to Jurgen Hartel from cars-and-more.de as he was who I purchased from. He is involved with poptop.nl and sources their vans that are sold in the Netherlands.
Good luck!
