Friends,
Greetings from Vermont, USA. A number of us here have been busy converting our campers back to the original non-NAFTA versions, including for example the change from the black tank to the cassette toilet: https://sprinter-source.com/forum/showt ... hp?t=75867
In case there's anyone in Europe who would like to do the opposite, I have for sale the original equipment (except for the shower pan) from our van. It probably makes sense to get a new Bravura toilet in Europe, but included here would be:
- Ca. 40 liter black tank
- Slide valve
- Most of the hardware to secure it to the floor
- Level sensor and display (never worked particularly well though...)
- Contact switch for the Bravura toilet
- Custom cabinetry to hide it.
You would need to do a fair amount of work, including drilling a few 10cm holes here and there, venting the tank via SOG or similar, and crafting a new shower pan or adapting the cassette system. The main advantage is twice the capacity of the cassette. (For the amount of time and effort, it might just be better to carry a spare cassette on board!)
Shipping for all the parts would be about $100 to Germany if you're interested. Just PM me.
Best regards,
Ted
