skylight remote (LIghts?)

Beitrag von pjstock » 14.05.2025 00:10

Still fiddling with things, discovering things before we go on a real excursion.

Today I swapped the batteries on the skylight remote and Presto! it works! (I am always amazed when things work as they should, even after nearly 20 years.)
well it mostly works - the Raise and Lower skylight buttons work

but I cannot figure out how the two lower buttons (which appear to be to turn on some lights) work

(and for what it's worth, I did flip through the Westfalia operating manual before asking this question)

What lights should those lower "light" buttons activate? the upper Left and Right Fluorescent lights?

if so Nothing seems to be turning "On" - no matter what position the I/O switch is in.

The remote control switches the fluorescent tubes in the crown of the skylight, not the side lights shown in the last photo. They are switched from the underside of the kitchen cupboard - but unfortunately they also have their own switch. Both switches must be set to on.
